Auburn Main Street's mission is to collaborate with our community to be an economic driver by promoting, advancing, and preserving a vibrant historic downtown that is welcoming for all. Our vision is to have a vibrant and attractive downtown that is inclusive for all.
We do this by working the Main Street 4 point approach to economic development. Our programing committees host First Friday events with Linger Longer plus the Night Market. They also meet with our Junior Auburn Main Street, have a Facade Improvement Program, work on community programs like the Hoosier Enduring Legacy Project, go after community grants, co-support local events with DABA like the farmers market, and collaborate with many organizations to help keep moving projects forward for the improvement of our community.
